About Roy:	The Circle of Toastmasters are proud and delighted to have from the Royal Hospital Chelsea, Chelsea Pensioner, octogenarian Mr Roy Palmer as an honorary member. Roy served in the British Army for 24 Years seeing service in various parts of the world. On leaving the services he was self-employed in a variety of businesses throughout the UK. In latter years he was Town Crier for Mablethorpe, Sutton on Sea and Skegness. As a proud member of the Royal Hospital Chelsea Roy leads a very active life officiating as Town Crier and M/Cl, and even finds time for writing poetry.
